Welcome to Chuck's Workshop!  I'll try to keep track of some of the projects that I get involved in and show steps on how to accomplish these things for yourself.  My interests include woodworking, fly fishing, guitar playing and building and bamboo fly rod construction.  I hope you enjoy your time here.

Last March, we took a trip back to the Philippines so my wife could visit her family.  It's been a couple of years since we've had the chance to see them and they hadn't had an opportunity to meet Zachary.  The wife's family lives in a suburb of Manila called Taguig City.  So while on the trip, I took a couple of days to slip away and visit Corregidor Island in Manila Bay. Before we get into the trip, let's look a little at the history of the island.

Wednesday Morning Ride

Another easy ride this morning.  Weather-wise, it was almost cool(ish) during the ride.  According to the bike computer, temps dipped below 70 degrees with an average of 67 during the ride.  All-in-all, it was a good ride.
