Friday Morning Ride

It's been a busy week and I missed a ride on Wednesday.  I had a very short amount of time to get Wednesday's ride in and, as I started, I realized I had a flat tire.  I didn't have enough time to get the tire changed so had to skip that ride.  So back out this morning.

It's hot and humid here in East Texas with temperatures forecasted to be above 100 degrees today.  So I'm glad I got the ride in early. I was a little stiff at the start of the ride but loosened up as I got warmed up.  I'm also trying out a new camera today, so let's see if that makes a difference in the video quality. 

Overall, it was a good ride.

Last March, we took a trip back to the Philippines so my wife could visit her family.  It's been a couple of years since we've had the chance to see them and they hadn't had an opportunity to meet Zachary.  The wife's family lives in a suburb of Manila called Taguig City.  So while on the trip, I took a couple of days to slip away and visit Corregidor Island in Manila Bay. Wednesday Morning Ride

Another easy ride this morning.  Weather-wise, it was almost cool(ish) during the ride.  According to the bike computer, temps dipped below 70 degrees with an average of 67 during the ride.  All-in-all, it was a good ride.
