Saturday Morning Ride

This was a decently long ride but one that I didn't really push my limits on.  23.4 miles is my second longest ride of 2018 following a 23.6 mile effort on March 14. At 55.6 miles for the week, this is my longest mileage week of the year.  Overall, it was a nice ride although I did have to fight a slight quartering headwind on the inbound leg.

Last March, we took a trip back to the Philippines so my wife could visit her family.  It's been a couple of years since we've had the chance to see them and they hadn't had an opportunity to meet Zachary.  The wife's family lives in a suburb of Manila called Taguig City.  So while on the trip, I took a couple of days to slip away and visit Corregidor Island in Manila Bay. Wednesday Morning Ride

Another easy ride this morning.  Weather-wise, it was almost cool(ish) during the ride.  According to the bike computer, temps dipped below 70 degrees with an average of 67 during the ride.  All-in-all, it was a good ride.
